Jumeirah Carlton Tower is back with another delicious afternoon tea! This time they’re celebrating the arrival of spring with the Botanical Bites afternoon tea. Available from 6th May it will feature a selection of horticultural inspired treats to coincide with the Chelsea Flower Show.
Once again designed by master patissier Eric Lanlard, the menu will offer sweet and savoury botanical bites infused and garnished with edible flowers and ingredients.
This elegant afternoon tea showcases sandwiches and summertime treats including a pistachio parfait on a hazelnut praline base, a raspberry financier, an upside down balsamic and black pepper strawberry tart and a ‘Menthe du Jardin’ chocolate floral tube.
Savoury bites include a beetroot bread roulade with smoked salmon and a lemon and chive cream cheese, a spinach bread sandwich with duck egg mayonnaise and baby watercress.
The Botanical Bites afternoon tea by Eric Lanlard is available at Chinoiserie now and costs £40pp; £50pp with a glass of champagne or £55pp with a glass of rosé champagne.
