Kaleidescape launch the world’s first 4K movie player

Kaleidescape 4k TV

For owners of private cinemas (be they in one’s basement conversion, beside one’s pool or on one’s yacht) how to actually watch a movie can pose something of a conundrum.

Seemingly, when you’ve installed a high performance Screen Research screen, a top-of-the-range Lutron lighting system and Cinema Acoustics audio treatment panels – not to mention custom built Fortress leather reclining seats – the last thing you should be doing is logging in to Netflix to choose a movie to watch. Comparatively the viewing quality would be like drinking Dom Perignon 2004 from a plastic mug.

The solution comes by way of the award winning Kaleidescape Strato 4K Ultra HD movie player, which caters for the discriminating viewer with a massive library of content from Hollywood’s major motion picture studios. The Strato plays in Blue-Ray quality with lossless audio (including Dolby Atmos). Movies play at 60 frames per second and there are no startup delays or buffering messages (hurrah!) Furthermore, with the system installed, movies can be streamed and played back from multiple locations.

What this means in simple terms, say Pulse Cinema (the UK distributors for Kaleidescape) is that “the Strato is the only choice for anyone looking for their cinema at home to come anywhere close to recreating what the director intended. Anything else will just seem inferior.”

The Strato can be purchased with or without an internal 6TB hard drive that can store up to 100 4K Ultra HD movies, 200 Blu-ray quality movies, or 900 DVD quality movies.

Price on application.
