Sofitel London St James collaborates with The House of Creed

“No amount of physical contact could match the healing powers of a well made cocktail.” – David Sedaris

What do you get when a luxury perfume house collaborates with a luxurious hotelier? A double dose of luxury in the form of three carefully crafted signature cocktails, that’s what.

A partnership we never knew we needed but are glad we have, Sofitel St James Bar and the House of Creed launched a collaborative cocktail menu inspired by iconic Creed fragrances.

Located in the heart of London behind a stunning neoclassical façade, the St James Bar is hidden inside the Sofitel London St James Hotel on the corner of Pall Mall and Waterloo Place. With its curved plush velvet seats and marble-topped bar this dimly lit enclave is the perfect location to celebrate two luxurious brands.

The collaborative cocktail menu is a sensational addition to the “Imagination” menu and features three carefully crafted signature cocktails inspired by the iconic Creed fragrances: Aventus, Silver Mountain Water and Green Irish Tweed.

Using innovative experimental techniques to formulate a bespoke cocktail menu, each cocktail has been carefully crafted to bring the scent of the Creed fragrances to life.

Cocktail number one is “Legacy” and is crafted with the iconic sensual notes of Creed’s Aventus fragrance. With distinctive notes of jasmine, cedarwood and lemon it is a luscious fruity but dry, citrus combination with a Tanqueray 10 base.

The second cocktail on the menu is “Lucky Tweed” and is inspired by the classically masculine Green Irish Tweed fragrance. This cocktail pays tribute to Creed’s equestrian tailoring past with its oaky citrus aroma playing to the delicate side of the fragrance with gentle notes of lavender and bergamot.

The final cocktail of the mouthwatering trio is “Alpine Silver”. This refreshing cocktail takes inspiration from the juicy citrus head notes of the Silver Mountain Water fragrance and is a mixture of white chocolate infused with green tea.

With our sense of smell and taste intrinsically linked, Denise Cheng, Head of Marketing at Creed comments that “Developing a range of curated cocktails that embody Creed’s signature fragrances is an exciting way to discover the scents in an immersive experience that ignites all the senses.”

So what are you waiting for…luxury awaits.
