9 Best Restaurants in Miami for a Girls Dinner

girls dinner night out miami

A girls dinner requires four things: good food, strong cocktails, Instagrammable surroundings, and an atmosphere that hypes you and your girls up.

We recently spent some time in Miami to test out the hottest restaurants for groups, and found nine of the best restaurants in Miami for a girls dinner during our testing! These nine restaurants have it all: luxury surroundings, the best cocktails and food, and music and atmosphere that makes you want to get up and dance (and at some of them, you can!)

Marion Miami

Marion is more than just a restaurant. You can enjoy Asian-American fare whilst feeling as though you’re in the middle of a club…and then it really does turn into a club, complete with a DJ playing pumping music, bottles of champagne and vodka being brought out with lights, music and cheering wait staff. Marion is made for groups, with plenty of large tables, and private areas if you have cash to splash. Just make sure you book far in advance (and don’t arrive before 9pm)!

KLAW

For the fancier ladies looking for a more refined meal with your besties, KLAW is the place you need to visit. A stunning dining room welcomes you, along with the staff, who run-through the menu and wine list in detail. It’s impressive, with family-table style dishes for sharing – splash out on the Whole Norwegian King Crab and the A5 Kobe Beef Tenderloin for international tastes, or for more local (and sustainable) options, choose the Nebraskan ‘Greater Omaha Packers’ Porterhouse. And don’t skip the cocktails or dessert!

Papi Steak

The latest celeb hot-spot in Miami and with just 93 seats, Papi Steak is an intimate but high-octaine dining experience that fuses Golden Era Hollywood swagger with modern day Miami energy to create an entirely new steakhouse experience. Serving elevated contemporary twists on classic chophouse dishes, this includes its namesake: the Papi Steak, which is a Tomahawk-cut named in honor of David “Papi” Einhorn, a partner in the restaurant with David Grutman and Groot Hospitality. The steak arrives with a fanfare of wait staff carrying it to the table in a suitcase, where they brand it in-front of you before taking it away to grill it.

DJ’s spin until the early hours, and it’s the perfect restaurant to gather the girls and drink a few cocktails whilst enjoying the food and atmosphere of a restaurant constantly filled with celebrities. Just don’t leave without trying the lobster mac & cheese!

Zuma Miami

For those looking for classy Asian fare, Zuma is the place to book. A timeless favourite, Zuma Miami excels with quality service and sharing plates that are ideal for girls dinners and larger groups. Their Omakase menus are perfect for trying different dishes, and the Lychee and Rose Martini is one you’ll be re-ordering as soon as you have that first taste. And when you see that dessert platter…oh my goodness, you’ll want to come back every weekend!

Carbone

Founded by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick, Carbone is one of the most celebrated Italian restaurants of the last decade, with outposts in Miami, NYC, Vegas, Dallas and Hong Kong. Set in a stunning green and pink dining room, the vibe is suitably plush and girly, and the famous Spicy Vodka Rigatoni is to die for. Don’t go to Carbone without trying it!

Strawberry Moon

Created by David Grutman (of Papi Steak) and Pharrell Williams, Strawberry Moon is a tropical TikTok & Instagram dream. Think Art Deco-style bubblegum pink and turquoise interiors and a cocktail menu you’ll want to work your way through over the course of the evening (you have to try the Strawberry Moon Dream). Ideal for a girls dinner, the restaurant serves Mediterranean food tucked above the busy streets of South Beach at the goodtime hotel. Just be warned that unlike the photos online, the restaurant doesn’t actually overlook the pool.

Cecconi’s

Set in a beautiful garden courtyard in Soho Beach Club, Cecconi’s serves fresh pasta and Italian seafood in a classy setting for those with more refined tastes. We suggest trying a selection of the Cicchetti (the meatballs are to die for) and the lobster spaghetti to get a true flavour of the food at Cecconi’s. Of course it should all be finished off with an Aperol Spritz to make you feel as though you really are in Italy!
