Latest London Bar Openings Summer 2015

Zetter Townhouse Marylebone - London's Latest Bar Openings

This summer has been the month for new bar openings! A few in particular have caught our eye, and we just had to tell you all about them.

Zetter Townhouse Marylebone

Zetter Townhouse, the bar where all the cool kids in Farringdon go, has finally opened in Marylebone after the announcement earlier this year. Billed as the new Chiltern Firehouse, we’d get in quick before the rush of celebrities arrive. Top notch cocktails and a luxury boutique hotel above if you have one too many. What more could you ask for?

Escargot Botanical Bar

You should probably hurry, this one’s a pop-up that isn’t hanging around for very long. L’Escargot in Soho have partnered with Fentimans Ltd to open a pop-up Botanical Bar on the top of L’Escargot. And even dogs are welcome! The upstairs has been transformed into a Victorian style greenhouse, it’s London’s very own secret garden.

Smith & Whistle

While the famous Park Lane Hotel is having a dramatic refurbishment, they have started with the bar, which launched this month under the new name, Smith & Whistle. A glamorous and luxurious mix of excellent cocktails and delicious canapes is the perfect recipe for the new Mayfair local.

Geisha at Ramusake

Geisha is a new festive night hosted by Ramusake, which is housed in the old Brompton Club. Launched by Marc Burton and Piers Adam, their Japanese restaurant Ramusake hosts Geisha on Friday’s and Saturday’s.

Nam Long Le Shaker

Nam Long was reopened in July by the daughter of late owner, Thai Dang, as Nam Long Le Shaker. The old haunt of Prince William and Mick Jagger now has a more conventional style of customer service (Thai was renowned for verbally insulting his customers), and is hoping to attract a new generation of late night party-goers.
