This year the Motcomb Street Party will be held on Wednesday 25th June 2014. Similar to Elizabeth Street Party, the Motcomb Street Party is an annual charity event in Belgravia. Motcomb Street Party raises money for a number of different charities, but one of them is always a military one.
Motcomb Street Party is larger than Elizabeth Street Party, with a disco, stage featuring tribute acts such as George Michael, Robbie Williams, and Rod Stewart, and celebrity lookalikes mingling with the crowds. There will also be an auction, and Christopher Biggins will be opening the party.
Food stalls include those from Ametsa with Arzak Instruction, The Berkeley Hotel, Harrods, and the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel. There will be a wide range of food, and it’s a fantastic chance to try out dishes from each of the stall holders. Motcomb Street Party is a thoroughly British affair that’s well worth visiting for the nostalgic fun of partying with your neighbours in the middle of the street.
The street party starts at 5:30pm on Wednesday 25th June 2014 and there is a suggested donation of at least £10.
