Quaglino’s Launches New Q Bar Menu

Hidden within the historic and exclusive St James’s area, close to Buckingham Palace and forming part of London’s West End, Quaglino’s is launching a new Q Bar menu in the heart of its stunning restaurant.

Throughout the years Quaglino’s became a haven for Royalty with visits from the Queen and Prince Phillip in 1956 and for Hollywood legends, the political elite and celebrities such as Judy Garland and Angelina Jolie. Whilst in more recent times and following a refurbishment in 2014, the restaurant welcomed Prince Harry through its doors.

Famed for serving contemporary European food and a creative array of cocktails all with a backdrop of live music, this March sees Quaglino’s serve up bottled classic cocktails inspired by the greatest songs of the past.

The new Q Bar menu is titled ‘All Time Classics’. Bar Manager, Marco Sangion and Head Mixologist, Federico Pasian creatively crafted the new menu, which officially launches on 5th March 2019.

Featuring ten bottled cocktails, each drink is a light-hearted twist on the most iconic classic cocktail. Highlights on the menu include:

  • ‘Money’, a combination of Sipsmith VJOP, Mancino Sakura and China Town Cordial
  • ‘Somebody to Love’, made up of Mancino Rosso, Fernet Branca, Islay Whisky and Orange Soda
  • ‘My Way’, a Frank Sinatra classic containing Bulleit Bourbon, Rhubarb and Bitters and Mancino Rosso

Each cocktail can either be served by the glass or by the bottle. The latter (pictured), being presented in the form of an upcycled wine bottle with its own uniquely designed label; something that is in keeping with Quaglino’s focus on sustainability.

It is not only the cocktails that have been given legendary status however. Around the central illuminated Q bar setting, recently appointed Executive Chef, Nuno Goncalves has also added a delicious array of bar snacks for guests to nibble on whilst live entertainment plays on the stage throughout the night.

Those wanting to indulge in an evening of ‘All Time Classics’ are able to pre-book seats at the Q Bar and enjoy the prime views of the live music on the Quaglino’s website.
